It’s a workshop series at the intersection of standup and advertising, blending real comedians with real ad pros to figure out how humor actually works — and how to use it to make funnier, better, less soul-sucking work. Part show, part therapy, part escape from your divorce proceedings.
Remember when ads were actually funny? On February 26th, Laugh Your Ads Off is taking over Arnold Worldwide's office in Boston to celebrate comedy in advertising and fight to bring it back.
Andy Pearson from Liquid Death will break down how they made murder water a cultural phenomenon. Comedian Caitlin Peluffo, featured on Colbert, will perform actual standup. And a panel of Boston's best advertising minds will get honest about what it takes to get comedy made and why it's worth the fight.
Drinks, laughs, and an assortment of cheeses. Part celebration, part intervention for an industry that’s fighting to regain its irreverent joy.
